Luca Bertone is a photographer and visual author based in Ticino, Switzerland, with Piedmontese roots.

He photographs architecture, interiors, design, objects, industry and places, looking at the relationship between space, material, light and human presence. His approach is attentive to character, atmosphere and the details that often remain unnoticed.

His commissioned work is developed for architects, designers, brands, hospitality groups, industrial companies, publishers and cultural organisations. Alongside commissions, he develops editorial collaborations and personal research, using photography to investigate places, objects, memory and traces of human activity.

His practice moves between photography, film and writing, looking beyond the immediate image to reveal character, traces, atmosphere and what remains beneath the visible.
